About
Dating back to the 15th century and built of locally quarried sandstone, Hardwick Inn is pleasantly situated at the south gate of Hardwick Park, just down the road from Hardwick Hall.
When you step over the threshold, there’s a feeling of stepping back in time. The traditional, historic feel combines with a friendly atmosphere to enjoy some fine food and drink. In Winter, the whole area is kept snug and cosy with open, coal fires.
Local produce and freshly made meals are important to us so our chef's hand prepare each and every meal daily. The Hardwick Inn is in a beautiful countryside setting, with easy access to locally grown produce. Local markets and farms are a large source of our meat, dairy and veg.
Our menu is packed full of traditional pub classics, local specialities and a selection of delicious seasonal favourites, giving you an excuse to try something new, every time you visit us.
We host five cask ales including Black Sheep, Theakstons XB, Old Peculiar, and locally brewed Bess of Hardwick and Chatsworth Gold, along with an extensive wine list, lagers, ciders, and soft drinks. We are also home to over 200 Malt Whiskys. So whatever your tipple we have something for everybody.
