About
We have been brewing beers with malt, hops and passion since 2007 from our great little brewery in the old stable block behind the Old Poets’ Corner in the pretty village of Ashover.
In 2015, we expanded the brewery and moved to Clay Cross. After eight years of brewing award winning ales, we felt it was time to stop keeping it all to ourselves. With our extra capacity at the new site, we can at last lift the lid on Derbyshire’s best kept secret.
If you like to find your chosen beer and stick with it, we offer a core range of ales that you can get all year. They will deliver a consistent flavour and condition and represent a range of style from the palest low strength session beer to full bodied dark stout.
If you’re an adventurous drinker, try one of our cutting edge beers which are produced using the latest brewing tweeks, new flavour hops and adjuncts. Taste these ales if you want to be in touch with the latest trends on the brew scene.
We also produce some seasonal brews, either to commemorate an annual event or when key ingredients come into season.
