About
The Pavements Shopping Centre is just off Low Pavement in the centre of Chesterfield, home of the famous 'Crooked Spire' Church. Looked at from the outside, the historic buildings that faced Market Place still look the same but behind them you’ll find the mall, the only covered shopping centre in the town.
The range of shops include major high street brands such as Boots, Tesco Metro, Poundland and WH Smith. You'll also find a bakery, card shop and fashion.
The Centre hosts seasonal events for Mother’s Day, Easter, spring, summer, autumn and, of course, Christmas. In addition, whilst Chesterfield Museum is closed for major refurbishment works, the Museum team organises several events per year in the Centre – check the Museum website for details.

Road Directions
From North/South Leave M1 at junction 29 and follow A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At roundabout select middle lane and take 3rd exit. At next roundabout select middle lane and take 2nd exit (Lordsmill Street). Select left hand lane and take first left (Beetwell Street). Follow road for approx 500 yards (passing Chesterfield Coach Station), and turn left down Park Road. Take first left turning into Beetwell Street multi storey car park.
For surface car parks at 2nd roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (continuous lane). At traffic lights select right hand lane and go straight on. At roundabout (Matalan, traffic light controlled) keep in right lane and take 4th exit turning left into Rutland Road. Select right hand lane at traffic lights at top of hill and turn right. Take 2nd right turning (Rose Hill West) and turn into car park on left or right.
From East Follow A617 to junction with M1 motorway, then follow route from North/South.
From West Follow A619 to Chesterfield. At Matalan roundabout (traffic light controlled) select middle lane and take 2nd exit turning left into Rutland Road. Select right hand lane at traffic lights at top of hill and turn right. Take 2nd right turning (Rose Hill West) and turn into car park on left or right.
