Urban axe throwing is probably the most fun you will have with friends in a night. Not to mention extremely great for relieving a little stress!
Sling axes side by side against your colleagues or friends. Challenge them on points or cheer them on. Everything you need for a fun night out and all supported with an amazing cafe to keep you replenished. Come and enjoy the atmosphere with Chesterfield's fantastic new Urban Axe Throwing venue.
But, don’t worry… the head coach will expertly guide you and give you all the tricks in the book. That’s when he’s not choreographing some of the most spectacular fight scenes for hit shows.
Once you have gone through an initial safety briefing during your introduction you will head to a lane to begin some hands on practice. Covering some throwing techniques and tips to get you launching some axes in no time at all. When you’ve got the idea of it, the competitions will begin.
You will have 90 minutes to complete your introduction and then learn the joys of urban axe throwing. The specially designed target boards have higher points the closer you get to the bulls eye!

Road Directions
From North/South. Leave M1 at junction 29 and follow A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At traffic light controlled roundabout select right hand lane and take 4th exit (A61). At next roundabout (Tesco, traffic light controlled) select left lane and take 1st exit. At next roundabout select right hand lane and take 3rd exit. Follow B6057 (approx 0.7 mile) as you approach the roundabout The Snake Room is on the right.
From East. Take A617 to M1 motorway junction, then follow route from North/South.
From West. Follow A619 to Chesterfield. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select middle lane and take 3rd exit. Keep in left lane and, at traffic lights go straight on. At roundabout select middle lane and take 2nd exit. Turn immediately left into slip road to A61 (signposted Sheffield). At traffic light controlled roundabout (Tesco) select left lane and take 1st exit, then follow directions from North/South.
