Tom Cruise flying a fighter jet in Top Gun: Maverick

About

Unfortunately, due to the wet weather forecast, this event has been rescheduled to Friday 11 August. If you have purchased tickets and are no longer able to attend, please contact Ashgate Hospice via the number above.

Ashgate Hospice’s Open Air Cinema is back! Get together with your family and friends under the stars for a night at the movies.

We can’t wait to welcome you as you join us to watch the incredible Top Gun: Maverick, al fresco under the stars! Experience the magic of film in an outdoor setting while helping us continue to be there for families across North Derbyshire.

Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) has been dodging advancement in rank which would ground him, for more than thirty years as one of the Navy’s top aviators, he is now where he belongs.

When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot has even seen.

He confronts ghosts from his past and an uncertain future, he will have to confront his deepest fears, and complete a mission that demands ultimate sacrifice.

No seating is provided so please bring your own camping chair or blanket. Gourmet pizza and refreshments are available to purchase on the night.

This film is rated 12A, films rated 12A are suitable for children aged 12 and over. However, people younger than 12 may see a 12A so long as they are accompanied by an adult. In such circumstances, responsibility for allowing a child under 12 to view lies with the accompanying adult.
